Question 1

Why LUUDEN?

Accepted Answer

Organizing a game with friends or colleagues often means dozens of messages about who's coming, who pays for the pitch and who brings what. LUUDEN puts it all in one place: one page per session, the player list, everyone's payment, the teams and the reminders.

Question 2

Which sports are supported?

Accepted Answer

More than fifty: 5-a-side, 7-a-side, padel, tennis, basketball, volleyball, running, cycling, swimming, yoga… Teams, colors and lineups are available for team sports, and formations on a pitch for football.

Question 3

Why not just a WhatsApp group?

Accepted Answer

Keep your group for chatting! LUUDEN handles what a chat does badly: knowing who's really in, managing spots and the waitlist, collecting everyone's share and warning the organizer when players are missing. Just share the session link in your group.

Question 4

Who is LUUDEN for?

Accepted Answer

Players, groups of friends or colleagues, associations and clubs, works councils and partner sports centers.

Question 5

Is LUUDEN free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to play: joining sessions and groups is free and unlimited. With the Player plan you also organize 2 sessions a month for free. Beyond that, an extra session costs €4.90, or the Group / Association / Company plan gives you unlimited sessions.

Question 6

How do I know who's coming?

Accepted Answer

The session page shows how many spots are taken, the participants and, for team sports, the teams. A paid session is only confirmed once the spot is paid, which cuts down on "maybe" sign-ups.

Question 7

What do you do with my data?

Accepted Answer

Your data is used only to run LUUDEN. It is never sold. Your contact details are shared with a partner only if you agree, and you can withdraw that at any time. You can download or delete your data from your Privacy page.

Question 8

How do I create an account?

Accepted Answer

Click "Create an account", choose whether you're a player, a group / association / company or a sports center, then enter your name, email and a password. A confirmation email is sent to you.

Question 9

Is there a minimum age?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 15. Between 15 and 17, a legal guardian's consent is required. The date of birth is used only for this check and is not stored.

Question 10

Do I need to install an app?

Accepted Answer

No. LUUDEN works in your browser, on phone and computer. You can add the site to your phone's home screen to open it like an app.

Question 11

Which languages is LUUDEN available in?

Accepted Answer

French and English. Switch with the language selector at the top of the page.

Question 12

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

From your dashboard, Privacy section. Deletion is permanent. If you paid for a spot in an upcoming session, leave the session first to be refunded under the usual rules.

Question 13

How do I contact you?

Accepted Answer

By email at hello@luuden.com. We read every message and reply within 24 business hours.

Question 14

How do I create a session?

Accepted Answer

From your dashboard, "New session": sport, date, time, place, number of spots and, if needed, a price per player. Pick the address from the suggestions so the session shows up in city searches.

Question 15

Public, private and group sessions: what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

A public session is visible to everyone and shows up in search. A private session can only be joined with its invite code. A group session is limited to the members of one of your groups.

Question 16

How many sessions can I organize?

Accepted Answer

On the Player plan, 2 a month, all types together, plus any you unlock for €4.90. On the Group / Association / Company plan, unlimited.

Question 17

How does the waitlist work?

Accepted Answer

When a session is full, the next players join the waitlist. If someone drops out, the first person waiting gets their spot automatically.

Question 18

Can I edit or cancel a session?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from "My sessions". You can change everything until the session takes place; the price is locked once another player has joined. If you cancel, everyone who paid is refunded automatically and told by email.

Question 19

How do I leave a session?

Accepted Answer

On the session page, "Leave the session". For a paid session, you're refunded if you leave more than 24 hours before the start.

Question 20

What happens if players are missing?

Accepted Answer

The organizer gets an alert a week, two days, a day and two hours before if the session isn't full. They can chase people up, play anyway, or cancel and refund everyone. With no answer, the session goes ahead.

Question 21

How do I find a session near me?

Accepted Answer

In "Explore", type a city or address, or use "Near me". Upcoming public sessions are sorted by distance, within 5 to 50 km.

Question 22

How do I build the teams?

Accepted Answer

For a team sport, the organizer opens "Build the teams": 2 to 4 teams, each with a name and a shirt color. Players are placed by hand or mixed at random.

Question 23

Can I create a lineup with positions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for football (5, 7, 8 or 11-a-side): pick a formation for each team, for example 2-2 or 4-3-3, then click a position on the pitch to place a player. Players not placed are substitutes.

Question 24

How does the random draw work?

Accepted Answer

"Mix at random" spreads every registered player evenly across the teams. In football, the first drawn take the positions, goalkeeper first. You can then adjust everything by hand.

Question 25

What is the shirt color for?

Accepted Answer

Each player sees their team and the shirt to bring on the session page, for example: "You're playing for the Reds. Bring a red shirt."

Question 26

What is a themed match?

Accepted Answer

To spice up the game, LUUDEN suggests famous fixtures (PSG – OM, Arsenal – Chelsea, Real – Barça…) or your own ideas, with matching team names and shirt colors.

Question 27

Can someone help me build the teams?

Accepted Answer

Yes: the organizer can appoint co-organizers among the registered players. They can build teams and formations.

Question 28

What is a group for?

Accepted Answer

A group brings together the people you play with regularly: friends, a team, colleagues. You can create sessions limited to its members.

Question 29

How do I invite players?

Accepted Answer

Share the session or group link by message, WhatsApp, Slack or email. For a private session, the link includes the invite code.

Question 30

I received an invite code, what now?

Accepted Answer

Open the link you received, or enter the code on the session page, then log in and join the session.

Question 31

How does the LUUDEN Pot work?

Accepted Answer

It's the kitty for your paid sessions. The organizer sets a price per player and everyone pays their spot online when joining. The money is held until the session, then paid into the organizer's or organization's account.

Question 32

How much does the LUUDEN Pot cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing for players: they pay the price shown. LUUDEN keeps 5% per spot from the amount paid to the organizer, with a minimum of €0.50 per spot.

Question 33

How do I activate the LUUDEN Pot?

Accepted Answer

From "LUUDEN Pot" in your dashboard. Our provider Stripe verifies your identity: have an ID and an IBAN ready. Until the pot is active, you can't set a price for a session.

Question 34

Do I need a SIRET or RNA number?

Accepted Answer

Not as an individual organizing with friends. To collect payments in the name of an association or company, Stripe asks for its RNA or SIRET number and details of its representative.

Question 35

When does the organizer get the money?

Accepted Answer

Once the session is over. The transfer then reaches their bank account within Stripe's usual delays, generally a few days.

Question 36

How do refunds work?

Accepted Answer

A player who leaves more than 24 hours before the start is refunded in full. After that, the spot isn't refunded. If the organizer cancels, everyone is refunded automatically. A refund can take 5 to 10 days to show on the account.

Question 37

How do I add my group's logo?

Accepted Answer

With the Group / Association / Company plan, from "Set up your group": add a logo and a banner (PNG, JPEG or WebP, 3 MB max). They appear on your public page and your sessions.

Question 38

Player vs Group / Association / Company: what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Player is free: join without limits and organize 2 sessions a month. Group / Association / Company is paid: unlimited sessions, a public page in your colors, sessions and LUUDEN Pot in the organization's name, our partners' offers.

Question 39

How do I unlock an extra session?

Accepted Answer

Once you've used your 2 sessions for the month, the creation form offers to unlock one for €4.90. The counter resets on the 1st of each month.

Question 40

Can I try the Group / Association / Company plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free for 2 weeks, on presentation of your statutes (association) or company documents. The trial ends by itself, with no charge.

Question 41

Can I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time and with no commitment, from the Billing section. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.

Question 42

Can our works council pay for employees?

Accepted Answer

Yes: the company or works council subscribes to the Group / Association / Company plan and organizes sessions in its name. Employees join for free with their Player account.

Question 43

Which emails will I get?

Accepted Answer

A confirmation when you pay for a spot, a message if you leave a paid session or if a session is cancelled, and, for organizers, alerts when a session isn't full. No newsletter without your consent.

Question 44

Are there phone notifications?

Accepted Answer

Not yet: everything goes by email for now.

Question 45

How do I become a partner center?

Accepted Answer

From the "Become a partner" page: tell us about your company and your centers. We review the application, talk with you, then set up your space.

Question 46

What does LUUDEN offer partners?

Accepted Answer

A brand page with your centers on the map, your events promoted on LUUDEN and our blog, your offers shown to nearby players and a monthly report of views, clicks and sign-ups.

Question 47

Do we need to connect our booking system?

Accepted Answer

No. LUUDEN doesn't plug into any center's system: the organizer books the pitch with you as usual, then shares the session on LUUDEN. That way every partner is treated the same.

Question 48

Can a partner pay to rank above others?

Accepted Answer

No. Search is sorted by distance and date. Paid promotion, if it ever exists, will always be labelled as such.

Question 49

How do I publish an offer or a discount?

Accepted Answer

From your partner space, Offers section: describe the discount, its duration and optionally a promo code, then publish it.
